Which occult pack is your favourite?

I love all of them, but the only pack that I don't have any criticism of is Paranormal--the B/B, CAS, and gameplay are all fabulous. I would have liked more content, but nothing that was included is a disappointment.

I love Vampires, but the subsequent nerfing that occurred took a lot of the "bite" out of them. For Realm of Magic, while I love the content, the world is remarkably limiting and the fact that spellcasters are not found outside of the Magic Realm is frustrating.

Paranormal Stuff! I like the other two as well, but Paranormal Stuff is just RIGHT up my alley, exactly what I like. The only disappointment I have with it is that it's only a stuff pack, not a game pack. I want more of it!

I chose Vampires because I've played with them the most. I haven't played a lot with Spellcasters, and haven't even touched much in Paranormal Stuff. That's not so say Spellcasters aren't great, they are. I just haven't explored them too much.

In all honesty, I'm not a huge occult player but I do like having the option when I do want to play.

Realm of magic. I like being able to fly around on brooms, and spells, and the familiars are interesting.

Vampires are okay, but honestly they're kind of an annoyance in my game. I do have some in my game (all the originals that came with the pack were deleted, sorry, I prefer my own Sims). The vamps that came with the pack were always stalking my Sims, making ugly kids, (looking at YOU, Vlad), and banging on their doors at all hours of the night if they didn't just invite themselves in to drink.

Paranormal I think is okay, but also feels a bit lacking. The career is kinda blah (was looking forward to it too) and the haunted house thing can be a pain. I want to like it, but think it feels like it's missing stuff.

Admittedly, Realm of Magic is the only one I have, and I appreciate the build/buy and clothing items as much as the gameplay.

(you are right @Simmingal , the gameplay is a bit cheaty. I think it could easily have been weirder, thus more fun.)

I might try Paranormal or Vampires sometime. I eagerly await the arrival of aliens in my game, as I bought Get to Work a few months ago and have yet to see any aliens arrive...

I have all of them but I really don’t play occult’s much. But I love the furniture in Realm off Magic. I like paranormal too though because my non occultist can use that one too. The vampire system does look like a good one though.,,.. I also like the herbalism skill in Outdoor retreat, it kind of goes along with witches and paranormal. In the Vampire I really like Forgotten Hollow.... I always thought the Goths should live in a place like that, so now they do. Oh and I also love that witches can have their little side kick.

If weresolves don’t have their own pack, I think they should come with a medieval world. But, I think they will make them better if the my dedicate a pack to them.

I preferred vampires and not just because vampires are cooler. I really liked the idea of having weaknesses which makes vampires unique and different from a gameplay perspective. I think it's a very well designed pack.

Vampires my absolute favourite. The biggest problem is the size of Forgotten Hollow so I've expanded my families into Windenburg. I do use cc and there is some incredible stuff that have upped my Vamps look and elegantly gruesomed their homes.

Paranormal has opened up for new characters, creating folklore types like Baba Yaga. Realm of Magic is good but they could have done so much more. So much potential wasted.
