For me personally it’s my first pet stuff and island living. Where do I begin with my first pet stuff? I feel like a complete fool for buying this pack (no offense to anyone that did but it) I got it cause I liked rodents and I had a hamster at the time before she passed away. So thought it would be cute if my sims could have a rodent too. But I realized by giving money to that pack I was fueling EA’s wallets and showing them that I purchased their DLC for DLC. If there was a way to unpurchase packs trust me I would! As for island living, I was overly hyped when I saw the trailer for it because I was a huge fan of island paradise for the sims 3, and I was never more disappointed than when I finally started playing the game. So many key elements from island paradise were missing in island living. The biggest disappointment I had was that you couldn’t dive underwater. Mermaids in TS4 win in terms of aesthetics and customization but in terms of gameplay they are shallow both figuratively and literally lmao.

I do not know about regret, because I use them all at some point, but the one that disappointed me the most was Cats and Dogs. Pets packs are my make it or break it packs, and 3's was absolute genius. It brought me back to 3 after I had abandoned it and I enjoyed the rest of my time.In comparison, 4's... It is down right the worst in my opinion, just because the pets have no life to them. They look great (not to mention the world, CAP, CAS assets, and bb assets being nice), but even in Sims 1 pets had proper relationships and kids could bathe them. Cats also had their own cool tricks. I appreciate the ambition with the vet business, but the illness system is so annoying when just playing with pets and the vet practices do not function well.That doesn't even touch on pets being NPCs that take up a full family slot. Whether you wanted them uncontrollable or not, this is too much, and the excuse was more lifelike pets which is laughable. I have never ignored pets so much in this series. This is the first time they feel like save slot decorations. I cannot imagine playing without pets and I would not have believed my own disappointment without experiencing it, so I always would have bought it, but there will always be a part of me that will feel cheated by the pack.

Right now it's the Eco Lifestyle pack. Too many bugs.

No regrets, but Outdoor Retreat at the time was very boring for a game pack.

Get Famous. I thought when they said that you could turn celebrities off, they meant OFF. Not turn off, delete them all and have the game just respawn more. I wanted the CAS and BB, but I didn't want the celebrities. I should have learned my lesson from TS3 when the toggles didn't work then either. I don't think I regret it though. I still like the pack, I just thought it would work as described.

The Cats & Dogs pack is the epitome of one of TS4's biggest and most persistent problems: All style and no substance. It's great that I can paint hearts and other silly things on my cats' fur since they're basically just moving decor items anyway, whereas dogs at least pester your sims often enough with their needs to remind you that they're still there, but taking care of them is more of a chore than fun. That's the reason Cats & Dogs is one of my least favourite EPs, but there are still things in there that I enjoy.That said, I don't actually regret buying any of the packs I own, because I have had at least some fun with all of them at some point, but the one that has definitely outlived its usefulness, the one I would give back without hesitation if I had to, would be My First Pet Stuff. I got it on sale, so it's not like I'm crying over what little money I spent on it, but I simply don't use anything from it other than the aquarium table. The main attraction (the small pets) is unappealing to me, the BB items are too childish and colourful for my taste (even the aquarium table, I only ever use the wooden-looking swatch), not to mention the whole controversy surrounding this being a DLC for a DLC. It's just not a good pack.

I’d say Get to Work. I mainly bought it on sale once because I was desperado for that acrylic chair with the gold legs. Ultimately, I enjoyed the doctor and detective careers for about 8 minutes. Detective was riddled with loading screens, Doctor was fraught with repetitiveness. Both reused the same kind of “examine evidence/sample” machine. It didn’t add much to the game in the end. Other than that chair I still love ?

For me it was Eco Lifestyle. When the pack was announced i got super excited about the voting system and the eco footprint. Both features aren't what i thought they were going to be. Atm they are useless to me, so i feel i could have passed on this pack...

I don't regret buying any pack. I only buy packs that I know I would like. I only regret buying City Living for full price.
