- I voted vintange glamour bc my friend wants that btw
- Babykittyjade6 years agoSeasoned AceIt's hard to say without knowing if you have any preferences. I love them all for different reasons. I chose vintage glamour for the butler. I use him for all of my rich sims lol and he literally does everything.
- They’re doing 2 game packs on-sale 50% Off per like week or so ... dine out has been in it so I’d hold off on strangerville and ROM as they might go half price very soon and you can get both for the price of 1
- Karamazov1236 years agoSeasoned AceRealm of Magic has very fun (if underdeveloped) gameplay, and there's a few ways of playing around with it. I've incorporated into my everyday gameplay and stories. Out of all the options here, I feel like it has the most to offer.
Dine Out's also good, but some people find it glitchy. It's also kind of meh in terms of gameplay, since all you're doing is building a restaurant and telling other sims to do the exciting stuff while you harass customers. But it still be fun, and having various restaurants to visit adds a lot of realism. Plus it gives me another reason to get my sims out of the house. - I personally prefer the Realm of Magic out of those choices, but it really depends on what you are wanting to do with your gameplay (and whether you love to build more than you play like me). I own all 4. The vintage glamour is probably one of the packs I rarely use anything from.
Dining out- is very limited. If you are looking to run a restaurant, it can be frustrating because you are forced to hire people, as opposed to say making it a truly small family-owned business. You cannot have members of your sim family be the chef, the waiter, greeter, etc. You yourself cannot have the sim you are controlling complete any of these tasks, even if you don't have anyone hired for the position. Eating out at a restaurant is a cool gameplay feature, but you will always be stuck with the full tab regardless if an NPC invites you out. You will pay for said NPC's food. The bottom line, it was a cool idea poorly executed. I do however use a lot of the build objects that came out of this pack.
Strangerville- I love the build objects that came with this pack, especially the windows and doors! but that was, unfortunately, the only thing I really liked about it. The storyline had a lot of potential, but really fell short and felt rushed. It did add the new Military career, but it has about the same effects on gameplay as most of the other generic careers. You also get another world with quite a few buildable lots.
Realm of Magic- Has a ton of cool new build objects if you like sort of a whimsical/Magical/Medivally type of feel in your builds. I don't use the gameplay of this too much at the moment. Adds 5 new buildable lots and an off the map location you can travel to. For me, it was about the equivalent to the vampires' pack gameplay-wise overall. - Dine Out is my favourite out of the ones you listed. I love being able to take my families out for dinner and I find it has added great game play value (at least for how I play).
There are some bugs with dining out (just a heads up). It worked great at first but as other packs have come out I've experienced some bugs. - simsimsere6 years agoSeasoned AceDine Out is easily my favourite out of those. Strangerville would get my second vote. Vintange Glamour is nice, but stuff packs don't compare to game packs.
- Vintage glamour is meh. Dine out is HEAVILY broken. Strangerville, you play the storyline once, and then you never touch it again. Realm of Magic adds the most to your gameplay.
- AquaGamer12126 years agoSeasoned AceOut of those choices I say Dine Out because if you do Family play it allows your parents to have a date night or just a night where they don’t have to cook for once ☺️☺️
- SimAlexandria6 years agoSeasoned Acedine out,
Strangerville is good too though
