Now that the game has been out for a while, I was curious which pet--cats or dogs--you enjoy playing with more?Cats and dogs appear to behave very differently from each other, and have their own animations/interactions. For those of you who don't lean one way or another, have you had equal fun with both, or does one trump the other?I have two cats myself, which I've placed in the world with my simself, however I don't actively play that household. Thinking of what I want to do for the household I just made. Thanks!

I love how the cats react. It’s so cute when they jump on everything. And how they climb into bed with you. My cat in real life isn’t as affectionate as my cat in the game so I guess that’s why I’m loving it so much!

In real life I am a dog person and I don't like cats, at all. In the game however, I like the cats more than I do the dogs. The dogs are nice, but cats are just more quirky and have more things to do, IMO.

I'm a cat person but for some reason I've only played with dogs so far. I was really interested in the breeder gameplay (selling them for profit) because it fit one of the stories I was playing.

I love taking them out for walks or jog and enjoying beautiful Brindleton sceneries at the same time. One of the dogs actually dug up a present box from a pile of deadfish (?) while I was taking him out for a walk. I also like the fact that I can train them a lot of stuffs. Of course I love the kitties in this game too but the dogs in this game fascinate me. Maybe because I've never owned a dog in real life before? ^_^

I play more with cats than I do dogs, though I do enjoy training the dogs, but the cats just seem to be a lot more fun for me to play ... In real life I am very much a cat person :)

In real life i have 2 cats :) So in sims4 I enjoy playing with dogs more.

I have 3 dogs in real life but I love cats too. In game I tend to play more with dog just because I feel there is more to do with them. But cats definitely have their place... like on the countertops... :D

Cats. Dogs seem overly needy. The ones I've played so far will want walked multiple times a day(even if you let them out using the independent trait), also even if they know to go out to the bathroom they will sit and whine at the door for hours before they take themselves out. While cats also need social attention, they are mush less pushy and annoying about it.
