Which skills can children learn?

My child in the sims 4 needs to learn 4 skills to get to A in his class or whatever, so which skills can children get and how do they get them?

  • AFAIK, there are only 4 child skills: mental, motor, creative, and social. Maxing them allows kids to start learning associated adult skills, from what I've read.
  • Social and Motor are the others. They can develop social skills from talking to a large stuffed animal, telling jokes to people, etc. The only way I've found of developing motor skills is to get them energized (brisk shower, decorate with crystals that have the energized aura enabled) and then do push-ups or sit-ups. I think that until you've reached level 10 in a child skill other skills (like fishing) will contribute to creativity, mental, etc. Once you cap that skill, you'll pick up logic or charisma or painting or whatever.

If you complete a child aspiration, the child skills won't show up in your traits or skills, but you will learn some skills more quickly.
  • You can also develop motor skills by using the monkey bars or practicing typing on the computer.

Playing with the monkey bars, and strangely enough, typing also improve motor. :D
  • Hey, massive fan of sims 4, and I have a whizzkid growing up, these are the following adult skills that can be available in a child phase:

    1.Charisma
    2.Fishing
    3.Logic
    4.Mischief
    5.Piano
    6.Violin
    7.Singing
    8.Vampire Lore
    9.Video gaming

Any other skills that might be missing, no idea, but this the complete list that my whizzkid can actually achieve these adult skills, alongside the 4 main skills: 1.Motor 2.Social 3.Mental 4. Creativity, which can all be leveled up to level 10 (apart from vampire lore, which goes to 15.) I can furthur repost more info when I build up my whizzkid! ;-) (Also make toddlers brainy by working on their skills loads and read books, helps them go way ahead once a child with skills!) keep everyone posted! :-)
