Which Story/plot should I follow next

Under normal circumstances, sure. But what I'm doing is focusing on a particular story each generation... Generation 1 was a Rags to Riches tale. Generation 2 undertook a voyage into a strange world and came back better for it (like Alice in Wonderland, Narnia, etc.) Generation 3, which is the triplets, will either be a University Comedy Story (and I'm fine with using a looser, more classical definition of Comedy than "funny story") or a Quest to uncover the treasures of Selvadorada. They don't get to do both.

Now, it did occur to me, and what I may do, is have them all go to Uni and do the University Comedy, then when Generation 4 is approaching the end of Teen hood, have "something mysteriously happen" to Dad/Uncle Merlin (that being the eldest) and use that as the hook for Generation 4 to go to Selvadorada. I've done similar things before (like playing Tomax Colette for about a week and a half to get his magic skills where I wanted them to be before his daughter became a teenager and he had to teach her the ways of Magic.) But Merlin's adventure in Selvadorada wouldn't actually be the focus of Generation 3's story, it would just be set up for Generation 4's story.

Believe me, I've already seen plenty of ways I could run this with the same generation covering multiple plots so I could do it in 3-4 generations. Especially as I play on Long life most of the time. But that's not the nature of the challenge I've laid before me.
