Whims... A thing of the past?

I'm in the minority here, but I love the whim system! I have two different save games where I play a whim challenge where I start with a single sim with an empty house, and I can only buy stuff and do stuff when my sim has a whim for it. It's really fun. :) In the first one I played, I started with a single sim and now she's married and has 6 kids and the house is almost completely furnished. Her husband has the materialistic trait so he gets whims to buy stuff that's 500 or 1000 simoleons so that helps to furnish the house. Anyways, I don't want the whim system to be changed because I'm having fun playing with it in its current form. :)
