whims not registering?

Oh this is a rapidly occuring issue since the update :( just checked hope it will be fixed in a patch soon

Yep! I have this issue as well.

They've completely given up on the whims system since deactivating it by default. We haven't had new whims for the latest packs and what's left of it is broken. I've had a sim roll the same "buy X" whim ~20 times in a row.

I would keep low expectations about a fix. It's no longer a part of the game in the devs eyes.

The issue with Whims not registering has been bothering me for over a week. Only the whim in the first slot gets fulfilled if the Sim happens to be in the right place, at the right time, to be able to do whatever action the whim involves. I've noticed that whims in the second and third slots seem to only get fulfilled if the Sim completes one autonomously and fairly quickly after the whim appears.

A lot of my newer Sims are learning to paint while waiting for their gardens to get going so they spin a lot of whims regarding easy stuff involving painting and gardening. The whim bug is causing problems for my new Sims who are trying to build up points to buy the least expensive reward traits, like Frugal.

Me too :/ I'm also now getting moodlets that are 'sticking'... It's all a bit of a hot mess.

Same for me. It's weird playing when half of them don't work.
