I like the system that’s in parenthood more than sims 3, mainly because you can set your own curfew. I feel like it’s way more realistic that the parents set the curfew and get mad. I would personally like it if sims reacted if teens drank “juice” or went to bars, but drinking ages also varies from country to country. In a lot of places, teens are allowed to drink.
Yes. Not so much these days, but when towns were smaller it wasn’t uncommon to see ordinances like that.
You learn something new every day. I don’t know if we’ve ever had anything like that here in Sweden, but makes sense that it could work in a small town.
Technically there are curfew laws for some US states although I’m not sure how enforced they are across the board. Indiana, for example, has a curfew between 11PM and 1/5AM for people under the age of 18/15. New York, on the other hand, has no statewide curfew.
