I shall suspect the detective cause no one ever does and somehow they are always close to where murder takes place with absolutely perfect possibilities to kill the victim and no one ever even asks them what they were doing at the time of murder.
I'm showing my age now, but it's just like Jessica Fletcher... Everywhere she went people were dropping like flies, and Cabot Cove has a ridiculous death rate. When Murder, She Wrote was running it was 149 per 100,000, which is 50% higher than Honduras. There's a daft t-shirt with 'Midsomer Norton, twinned with Cabot Cove, on it (Midsomer Norton also has a high death rate - Midsomer Murders).
Murder, She Wrote is actually one of my favourite shows in the whole wide world, I've been re-watching my box-set with dinner. I wouldn't want to be Jessica's friend; if she's visiting you then you'd either wind up dead or be suspected of murder!
