- I've never used gnomes before... but maybe I will, to try out the new feature.
I just need a build and a character, and a house none of my character I feel would have gnomes in their yard. - Not my usual thing but they remind me of old sims games so I like :)
- It’s for one holiday tradition. I think it’s neat for a one off.
- It's not that I like the gnomes per se but I like the unexpected quirk they provide. I like when they do things like this since it is very much in the spirit of The Sims original game.
- In TS3 they could be a bit scary for me, especially the dog one occuring in the middle of night, but I'm rather indifferent about their return. Although I like that we can easily decide whether we want them or not.

They freak me out lol.
I like them because they freak me out. Finally some creepy stuff in TS4! :D - Not for me personally, but I can see how they are a fun feature
- I like the idea of something quirky and creepy for the game...
But I’m gonna be really annoyed if those buggers pop up all the time and ruin my painstakingly decorated homes!
I suppose I’ll have to wait and see - maybe I’ll love the gnomes? And if I don’t, I’m sure that some clever modder will come up with an option to switch them off in no time! - Love 'em :)
- keekee53Seasoned NewcomerThey are a waste of coding time in my opinion. The time could have been spent on fine tuning the weather effects like rain on the roof, rain in puddles, pools, snow depth, icicles forming on the rooftops during winter, etc. I know I am not going to have my Sims giving gifts to the gnomes or kicking them. No real point to it.
