I think it's an interesting feature really and reminds me of that silliness in the sims games. Of course if you don't want the gnomes there you can just remove them from the holiday and not even have to deal with them. I like them but at the same time they kinda weird me out a bit.
Least that one eeeeeeeeeeeeevilll gnome isn't there like in sims 3 just being near your bed WATCHING you sleep. He's so dang eevvveeeel.
