If/when they do add a firefighter NPC, I can imagine that they'd be willing to turn up the chance a lot more since there's an NPC to save the Sims before they die. It would be very cruel, yet very funny, if they turned up the chance to 30%-40%, just to check how people respond, but they'd probably just turn it back up to about 5%-15%.
I hope to at least 20% and yeah I'm thinking lack of NPC could be why. That would be funny. XD I tried flavor 2 with this mod and the settings were too high to put the fire out. I'm liking flavor 1 so far. http://modthesims.info/d/569221 So you can view the default settings with that link.
Fire spread chance is 75%, Time to extinguish is 100%, 100% time needed to burn a Sim, and takes 30 Sim minutes to start a fire.
