why are my sims constantly just standing there staring into space randomly?

When I ask them to do something. they just stand there like stuck in a pose. or a toddler stuff in a interaction like when they get mad, but repeating itself lol comes and goes

@marcel21 Sometimes my sims do that and if I hit 'pause' then 'play' (sometimes I need to twice) it 'jolts' them back to action. If it's happening significantly or that doesn't help, you can try a game repair...

Open Origin (not the Sims game) and do a 'repair' of your game to see if that fixes it... (see link below)
