If you noticed in the blog post they focus exclusively on "Harvestfest" for Autumn and they've been dodging Halloween related questions when they've been pretty upfront with most things. Spooky day is gone unless you want to pay the extra $10 and make the holiday yourself.
A Guru confirmed that we wouldn't need to purchase Spooky stuff in order to celebrate Halloween. They said that while that pack adds some nice extra items, it isn't needed.
I must’ve missed that tweet, that’s nice to hear though. Although I doubt that the costume parties that came with Spooky Stuff will make an appearance in this EP, for those who do have Spooky Stuff at least those parties can be put to good use now. Maybe you can create a holiday where sims will dress up in costumes?
Yeah I'm guessing the costume party and pumpkin carving station will be exclusive to the stuff pack. Maybe we can decide that people should dress in costume for a holiday though. Here's the actual tweet if you want it.
