Why can't hybrid aliens disguise themselves?

I get that the half human half aliens don't have powers (I wish they did, but it's fine.) but since they have blue skin shouldn't they be able to disguise themselves like the regular aliens can?

  • Because EA never intended for hybrids to be in the game. Usually what I do is enter into CAS with the full edit cheat turned on to fix the blue skin issue.
  • They're more human than alien I think. They don't have powers or most of the weird quirks full aliens do so they don't need to disguise themselves because they don't have anything "weird" to hide. Unless you consider their skintone weird.
  • I would like to see this updated. There should be more of a chance of the half breed sims having powers and getting some of the parents alien traits. There should be a chance of babies being born looking human but having alien powers and looking alien with no powers. And they should have disguises if they do not come out looking human. I hope this is expanded. Takes the fun out of aliens for me.
  • I don't like how the hybrids work so far. I really don't like that half aliens have no powers at least none I've seen yet. They should always have powers. We should only have to wait and see if the baby will come out looking alien in which case they would need the disguise or if they look human and need no disguise. But they should always have powers. Maybe a slight chance that the baby would come out looking human with no powers. But a baby with no powers should never have anything but human skin color. And these chances should be the same if the mother is alien and with human abductions.

It's not realistic to me and I like to let my families evolve on their own without having to use a cheat to alter their appearances. Its taking the fun out of having aliens in the game for me.
  • If you're willing to use mods, the MCCC Occult module allows you to change the %chance that human+alien will have an alien baby, a hybrid, etc. (You'd need the MCCC module (the base module) as well as the occult one)
