I'm genuinely curious. Did a lot of people actually complain about bed making that EA decided to take it off? It's the only reason I can think off since when sims get out of bed they instantly make the bed, so part of the animation is there.I hope this is something that will change. I don't want a house that is always clean. If I have a maid, I want her to actually have something to clean.

Yeah, I'd rather there was a proper make bed interaction that you could instruct the sim to do. It's weird how they just kind of throw the covers up and march off in one fell swoop upon getting up.

Why can't sims make beds anymore?

I didn't even notice this was gone! I'm not sure I miss this as much as cuddling, but it would give the maid something to do other than constantly reshuffling toys when they discover there it no toy box.

It's not one animation to make a bed.. 2 arms, 2 legs, 3 parts on the back, hands and then the bed. It ain't as easy to do animations to the sims (and other games ofc but sims is enormously difficult) as people might think :)
