Get a height slider, expect some trade off in the quality of animations. Wouldn't be surprised if they did it for the next one (if there is a next one). Every one since 2 seems to add something superficial and gimmicky at the expense of something fundamental.
I would like to suggest, there are already problems with the animations in this game. Try having your Sims make out and watch how it's
almost a Hollywood air-kiss. It's a tad unsettling but I've learned to just carry on despite it. I tried the skeleton cheat back in Sims2. It
does mess with the animations. Pity, though. Everyone in the world is
not of the same height. People cry out for diversity in the game, why not diversity of height? Yes, it would probably take a bit more on the part of the animators, but there is a way for the child Sims to interact with their much taller parents/siblings. True enough, they don't get into a furious liplock, but still. I am optimistic. I believe there
is a way. I was right about the ability to effectively bring "The Lord of the Rings" to the silver screen, and they managed it. Hubby kept telling me no, they can't do it. I feel this same way about diversity of height in this game being possible. Probably not until another iteration. But, in the meantime, I'll just keep playing and enjoying it.
