I really only have one superstar in my game, and I don’t rotate to her very often, but even so I have definitely noticed this issue and have had the same thought!
Even without the fame system, I believe adding this system would make things much better. It would also be useful in the dorms... for example, if you want your sim to keep the roommates out of the room, but invite someone over, particularly for romantic purposes.
