Why do my toddler sims have NO whims at all? Please Help!

My adult sims have whims just fine, but trying to play a mother and toddler daughter that I created in CAS, the mother gets whims for all kinds of things, but the toddler NEVER gets a single whim!?!

Is this some sort of new game bug? Long story short, I had to totally reinstall my Sims 4 game and all the EPs, GPs and SPs that I have for it. And now, when I try to play the game, I run into this? I removed all mods. Updated the game. Repaired the game. Nothing fixes it, gah!?!

Any help here would be greatly appreciated, thank you. I LOVE playing toddlers, love their little whims and the flavor text for everything about them and without whims, it's sucking all the joy out of playing the toddler sim for me...*Sighs*

Try a game folder refresh. To do this, go into your Documents>Electronic Arts> The Sims 4 . Rename the folder to something as simple as The Sims 4_Old. Start your game and a new The Sims 4 game folder will regenerate. Test to see if a Toddler has whims. If all is sell, replace the newly created Mods, Tray and saves folders with the ones from the 'old' folder. And you should be good to go!

Best of Luck. If this doesn't solve the issue contact the help page.
  • @GalacticGal thank you so much for the reply! I will try that, yes. Thank you again!
  • @GalacticGal well, I tried what you suggested, and toddlers still aren't getting any whims, so I posted on the help page...

But thank you again for trying to help me out!
