The only thing I can think of that is anything close to different or new are the paintings my Sim painted from reference in the game. I don't like using cc of any kind.
Hello
Sometimes paintings and photos can cause lots to show up as having cc in it. Try removing the paintings and see if that helps the issue."SimCarlex;14568778" wrote:
Well, I have no CC whatsoever in my game and all of a sudden my sims show up in the gallery as being modded. Sims I have made from scratch using nothing but Maxis content! Is this a new bug?
Hello
There are other simmers that are having the same issue, of the game saying that their sims have cc on them, although they have never downloaded cc for their game.
A workaround if you would like to upload your sims to the gallery and want them to be cc free is to start a new game, go to CAS, replace the random sim that is there with your modded cc Sim ( what the game is classifying as having cc) from your library , and then save the sim to your library again. The sim should then be seen by the game as not having cc.- SheriSimRising AdventurerYes, I believe it is a bug that came with the February patch. I use no mods or CC, and this happened to my sims shortly after that patch.
- Hello.
This link on the EA AHQ site refers to the issue with the sims.

Yes. I have that exact same problem with my households. Even when I created a household with no CC or mods in my game at all, the game somehow detected CC. I nearly head-desked into my keyboard.- SheriSimRising AdventurerTy for the link Rosemow!
Edited for spelling... - Thanks so much for responses. I'll take out the paintings my Sim created in game, and see if that works.
- Dear All, so far we do not have a chance to create NO CC paintings of CC ones. Paintings hanged on the wall are shown as NO CC, but if somone download them from the gallery and hang in the room / house, it became CC.
It is checked by few PL forum colleagues and there is no way to send them on the gallery as no cc.
Is there any chance for you to check if this situation is only temporary? Or our best way to have something of our own and fun in game is just shut down?
Thank you in advance for your respond. - Guys! I have the same problem with paintings by photo. They're all CC now. But I don't use mods! And the same problem with my 4 families on my catalog - they're CC now. But these sims were made with standard game dressing!
- I took out all of the paintings that my Sim created, and saved the lot again. I then started a new game and placed the 'new' lot. The gallery does not show the 'new' lot as having cc. So I guess if you want to truly have no cc, you need to save the lot BEFORE having your Sim hang any paintings made from reference in the game. Or better yet... share the lot before having your Sim paint anything by reference at all. In the process, I saved all my Sim's paintings into a separate room, and saved the room so that I'd still have access to them for my own game play.
Thanks everyone, for your thoughts and advice.
