Why is it dark in Nordhaven during summer?

The winter is Nordhaven is just like real winter in the Nordic countries, around 15:00 is already dark.

I was expecting that the days to be longer in the summer, but to my surprise they arent. 

If Nordhaven is truly inspired by the Nordic countries, then it should have long nights in the winter and long days in the summer.
