From what I’ve seen, some of the major requests we currently have for content in Sims 4 are: - Bunk beds - Spiral staircases I don’t really understand the hype for these items, I wouldn’t be opposed to them but surely they wouldn’t make that much difference to gameplay?I think it would’ve made sense for them to add bunk beds & spiral staircases in Tiny Living in the sense of saving space, they seem like a perfect fit for the pack and the SimGuru’s must know by now how much everyone seems to want them? Other high demand things like cars I can understand, because although there would be a loading screen and not much you could do with cars, there could still be some new interactions with them. But I imagine bunk beds and spiral stairs are quite limited to what they can offer? Maybe it’s just me I just don’t understand the huge demand there seems to be for them and why are Sims team haven’t addressed them because I can’t imagine they’re difficult to add?

Sims 1 2 and 3 had spiral stairs and they are compact and extremely handy and have a huge amount of potential for builds of all types. And likewise, Sims 3 had bunk beds and they are also compact and really handy for child sims (also modders have created functional bunk beds for TS4). Cars aren't as functional gameplay wise, rather something that adds verisimilitude, which you could argue is something that is lacking. Loading screens and cars aren't an issue. Certainly wasn't an issue in Sims 1 or 2

There's not much to spiral staircases in terms of gameplay (though the sliding down the railing is cute), but I like building and at least a dozen times I could have used spiral staircases for what I had in mind. It's what I want the most, but it's probably more for builders? I could do without bunk beds because I don't play kids often, but the truth is I'd welcome any addition lol

The diplomatic answer? For creativity in builds, to make certain types of environments, and to have space-saving items for the family. The honest answer? Because people hyperfocus on individual objects that were in previous Sims games until they obsess about it and expect it in every single content release thereafter. If you doubt me, look at Murphy beds. People were flipping out that they weren't in Discover University. I mean... Really? How many people actually needed those? I don't get the object fixation either.

I agree fully on @LiELF.
I want bunkbeds because I like family play and it saves space. But I can accept the fact that we may or may not get them.
I think various social intercations should be improved, that's my main focus to be honest.

I want spiral staircases because it's good for the kind of build/house I'm going for. I don't like playing large families but I can see how bunk beds can be popular among family type simmers. Sims mimic life and its weird how these common items aren't included.

I would love spiral staircases, since they would open up a lot of new building possibilities. You can also save space with them which is a plus :tongue:

Bunk beds i don’t really care about. If they could somehow manage to implement them without them being too buggy, i would probably try them out :p
