Why is there a demand for Bunk Beds & spiral staircases

From what I’ve seen, some of the major requests we currently have for content in Sims 4 are: - Bunk beds - Spiral staircases I don’t really understand the hype for these items, I wouldn’t be...

Well, I'd like them mainly because I play in San Myshuno mostly and the apartments are tiny. Bunk beds would help free up some space. I use a bunk bed mod, but the top bunk looks so weird without a climbing animation.
