Why is there no effort put into pre-mades’ family trees and ancestors?

I’ve spent a lot of timing giving the more iconic premades back stories and family connections. I’ve downloaded recreations of sims from past games and connected them to the existing ones. For examples I have the bachelor family with Simis, Jocasta and Michael. They are connected as Bella’s parents and brother. Then I have Gunter and Cornelia goth as Mortimer parents. I like that my sims have family connections and back stories. I really miss that as well.
