Why isn't there any bathrooms in Battu?

This might be a silly or stupid question but why isn't there any bathrooms in the Battu worlds? And sorry if I spelt Battu wrong.

  • in the central area (with oga's cantina) the building where sims can change clothes and sleep also has toilet and shower functionality.

you could also always add a bathroom to any three neighbourhoods with the bb.enablefreebuild cheat
  • The hotel also functions as a bathroom. Batuu was created after the one in Disneyland, there probably aren't any bathrooms there either. I have added bathrooms in my game. And pee bushes.
  • It's a rabbit hole building, the same one your Sim uses to sleep and take care of hygiene. It's in the Black Spire area. Just click on it to interact and your Sim will disappear for a few seconds, replenish their need, and come back out. It's done a little differently from the rest of the game. There are also eatery places that do the same thing, only when your Sim goes in, you can choose what they eat from a popup menu. Droid purchases and other items can be acquired the same way from other buildings. You kind of have to look around and click on buildings to get used to where things are.
  • I redid all three lots in Batuu with the BB.EnableFreeBuild & saved it in the Gallery under SEREFRAS.
You are welcomed to check them out & use them for your play.
PS: I only play Vanilla, no Mods of any sort. :)
  • It’s the rabbit hole where you get clothes etc like others said. I believe the option is ‘freshen up’.
  • I think one reason might be that the npc would use any bathroom facilities that we place, too, and when the aliens take a bath, it would become obvious that they are just masks? Same with beds, sims in Batuu only have their Batuu outfit, so what would they wear to bed? Their Batuu costume or their normal sleepwear? Adding Batuu-themed sleepwear probably wasn't in the budget. (Imho many of the normal sims outfits fit in perfectly fine at Batuu, and I use the mod that unlocks normal clothing there).

Or maybe the devs thought that heroes and villains getting caught in every day activities would kill the atmosphere. I love my evil officers parading the plaza with a coffe cup in hand, but I guess it's not very Star Wars-y?
  • Because it's in the future and Sims are so advanced they never need to use the facilities? :open_mouth: I don't own that one, so I have no clue.

Everyone has taken the perk that removes the need to go the bathroom?
