I think this is it. EA is appealing to younger, everyday street fashion conscious players. I just checked my game and found 10 male tops with a necktie or bow tie. I also found 10 male tops with SCARVES around the neck. I have only know one guy who regularly wore a scarf, a fashion model who was starting to "age out" of the business at 27. He didn't have a lot of clothes, but they were all very, very nice. Scarves.
Anyway. There aren't a lot ties or matched suits in the game. They could have made interchangeable ties like the necklaces, but it's too late for that. Even the women's clothes don't have a lot of workplace appropriate clothing (although there are 100 times more than the male choices).
