Why YA and Teen cant have romantic interactions?

They are still dating in that scenario, they are just not allowed to show affection like making out or woohoo, but I've seen them still kiss cheeks etc before.

I haven't seen that, I actually have also been frustrated because I had a teen couple where one aged and then zero interactions were allowed. I know they still are technically pink, but she is right that it doesn't really let the relationship continue when it should be appropriate

Pink bar still continue here, but no romantic interactions
Then when players play with long lifespan (or custom lifespan) it will make decay that pink bar over time

Yeah I get how that would work, I think it isn't changed because of coding issues, and that they do want to avoid another more inappropriate situation occurring.
I think we will just have to age the other one up and live with that. I will then usually correct the age inaccuracy that creates by postponing or early ageing one of them from YA to A.

After all, after 2 years they solved culling problem without disable it at all, they make an exception as I said (allow couples still have romantic interactions) would be a small thing.

I have MC Command Center and correct I can allow Teen and Adults romance (yees, all ages), but as you can see, it is an all or nothing (allowing also situations than as others say here, Gurus wanted avoid due legal comparision of YA with over 18 and Teen underage)

Also, you know why I started this thread?
I had not enabled that option at MC Command Center, and the love interest of my teen sim aged up when both was at nightclub... and still 3 days to my sim age up
