I don't wanna be whiney, but the supernatural series seems to be taking forever and a day to be complete in this game, and it's starting to feel like it's never going to be completed at this point. Vampires, the first supernatural, finally came out after two and a half years of the game. Then another two and a half years later, spellcasters came out. That's five years for just two parts of the supernatural occults, and it's already been nearly another year since ROM and no sign of another pack. In TS3 it took 3 years and we got all the supernatural occults, in TS4 we've been waiting for six so far and we're not even 50% there. (TS3 had Vampires, Spellcasters, Fairies, Werewolves and Zombies. Obviously TS4 has the first two, but not the other three.)All the rumors of TS5 are circulating, and we don't even have supernaturals finished yet. It seems like most players have either forgotten or don't care and it's just frustrating at this point. It feels like we're never going to get the set finished, and if they carry on at the pace they've been releasing them with one every 2 and a half years it'll be another 6 and a half years till the sets finished, if ever.A lot of people enjoy this type of gameplay and want the set to be finished, and it just feels like it's being ignored and forgotten about as it isn't the most popular type of gameplay. :|

They need to put back Fairies, Genies, Permanent Plantsims & Werewolves in Sims 4.

Well either Maxis has a plan to bring those occults back to the sims4 and EA are planning for the sims4 to continue for many more years... or one day EA will decide to end the sims4 and let Maxis work on their next game.Their rebranding and their surveys seem to hint that they want the sims4 to continue for at least a couple of more years... but EA also decided recently that DICE who worked on Battlefield 5 should stop supporting it and work on their next game even when they had more content planned for Battlefield 5.I don't think Maxis will be able to complete the sims4 with everything the community wants, but hopefully they will make most players happy, occult players included.

I’m okay with werewolves and zombies but what is the appeal of fairies? I stopped playing Sims 3 before Supernatural came out so I missed it.

The moment they decided to dedicate packs specific to one occult or in general one feature the community was doomed because it meant there will always be things we previously had missing.

Werewolves and Fairies, yes. Zombies? No! They were the worst part of TS3.

Don't forget that not everyone wants supernatural/occult content in their games. Some might be more "realism" type players, others may have religious objections (or their parents may have objections if the player is still at home). And Supernatural may have been the second worst pack of Sims3 (Showtime edges it out) because it was supernatural overload; all the occult types were watered down with the possible exception of vampires that got an upgrade over the Late Night variety. With the current trend of GPs devoted to supernaturals, it's easier for people to skip them without feeling like they're missing an entire EP, and more developer time/energy/budget can be focused on occult gameplay.

The possessed sims from Strangerville are kinda like zombies don’t you think? I figured that was gonna be the ts4 take on zombies. And we’ve also got mermaids, aliens and plantsims. I guess the only one I’m missing is were wolves but they were always my least favorite occult. Never played ts3 so I’m not familiar with fairies.

They in no way shape or form can take the place of zombies. They are simply just sims with a creepy walk.... if those turn out to be the only zombies we get I'll have a heart attack ???

I don't really understand what new could fairies possibly bring to the game. They're basically just spellcasters with wings.

I just feel like they would re-use a lot of the spellcaster animations to save resources and then the community would throw a fit just like they did with Eco Lifestyle. I don't even know what new animations they could even make because the spellcasters can make magic with/without wands so doesn't really make sense for me to pay 20€ for that.
