I accept to wait longer as long as the final content isn't a big Mess Effect.
Were overdue for a big game update to the base game.
I still think Car is a big challenge, updating the existing worlds without being forced to start a new game.
Grant did make some mention of cars during Fridays Q & A we just had on twitter - so cars are definitely not off the table - he even said they have a lot of ideas they are tossing around - but also sort of sounded like it won't be soon. Of course he didn't say it would happen or wouldn't - just that they had ideas and were well aware simmers wanted them.
