I like the world, and the gameplay seems interesting. I really don't want to play as a landlord, but I do like the idea of multiple household residential lots. I loved that option in Sims 2 and have wanted it back ever since. I also tend to like the extra objects.
I'm holding off on pre-ordering though, or purchasing within the first ten days. Ever since we were forced to use the EA app, I've had a problem every single time when pre-ordering or purchasing a brand new expansion. The app does not recognize that I've bought the pack, and I'm unable to download the pack until it's fixed. Sometimes work arounds fix, other times I have to wait until a general fix. I end up spending a bunch of my time contacting EA Help, who are rarely any help at all. So instead of being excited for new releases, I'm anxious and apprehensive. I do not want to go through that again, you know? So I'm going to wait and see if people report whether or not the EA app is behaving, and then I'll buy the pack when it's hopefully safe to do so.
