Wow. That’s very random. I feel like crying. Another three months to wait, hoping for something that interests me
What about it was random? You knew Laundry was coming, it was a community decision. And a lot of people have expressed their desire for a WA type pack. Maybe this is it.
I’m talking about the adventure GP. People have mainly been hyping a beach vacation pack so it seems out of nowhere to me
Yeah I don't think anyone was expecting this but I'm still excited for it... mostly confused but still excited."Dannydanbo;c-16242473" wrote:
It's kind of sad that no one seems to be excited for Laundry Day. To be fair, it's probably because we knew about it from the start, so it's unfortunate that there's so little excitement. I did not vote for LD but I did vote along the way. LD, I think, will be a very well done SP and, while I won't play with LD in my game (laundry always seemed like a pain), I will add it into my builds for the gallery. The first thing I'll create is a Laundromat where sims can meet and do their laundry.
I wish I was around for the voting process but I missed it entirely. I would have pushed for something else. While I do want a laundry aspect included in the game, I didn't want an entire stuff pack dedicated. I really believe just a simple patch would have sufficed. I mean its just putting clothes into a machine. Im not sure how that pack won.- superkyle221Rising Newcomer

That's because it's laundry day. Laundry isn't exciting. - MidnightAura86New SpectatorI'm not bothered about laundry because I've spent the last three days doing laundry load after laundry load in real life. I can't see the game play in a household chore that I hate doing in real life. No disrespect to anyone that is excited for it, it's just not my idea of fun. Not to mention it's not even like it's part of a bigger pack it's a whole pack dedicated to it. To me it still feels like a wasted opportunity but anyway.
As for the adventure game pack? I don't know how I feel. I'm not dead excited or the extreme. I don't think it will be a patch on WA but I hope there is decent game play and it's not a case of go to pretty location once and once you have seen it never go again.
Curious to see more trailers for that. - I am super stoked for the adventure gp - and I am happy LD is coming out even though I have no plans to add washers and dryers to my sims lives - I am eager to have all the other content. I voted all the way through - so do want to see first hand everything. I like the clothes and decor - love the wicker furniture and all the rugs - which will come in handy if we ever do get a tropical pack. So yes I am stoked about this quarters content even if I don't want laundry - it's still a lovely pack that I plan to get. Just told hubby I was getting both. He was glad to see me excited and smiled - happy for me.
- icemanfreshSeasoned NewcomerOoh, an Aztec-style GP. Not exactly beaches, but I'm curious to find out what's in it. Might be worth looking into
I didn't buy WA on release, but I did enjoy it when I got to play it years later. I wouldn't write this GP off yet. It might have exciting new things - Well this is going to be an underwhelming quarter. We didn't even get the stuff pack we originally voted for and ended up with laundry.

Only 3 more months til the second quarter teaser! Maybe there'll be some free content to tide you over until then. :)- catloverplayerSeasoned Ace

See. I don't get the whole "let's add chores to the game that I hate in real life" either. I want fun stuff that I can't do but my sim can, like go on a jungle adventure.
