- Wish they'd fix this, totally agree with folks here.
For those of you willing to use mods, deichschafblog has a mod that lets you destroy them quickly by clicking and selecting from a menu. I installed it after the last autumn in my game, my Sim was exhausted by the days of leaf burning that I made him do so I hunted down some relief. I can vouche for the mod quality, she has some other awesome ones that I have been using for a while. That site and LittleMsSam's are the only mods I use (plus MCCC) because of how quickly they do updates for patches. - akl12267 years agoSeasoned AceThank you for the mod! May add that to my game! I figure this hasn’t been fixed because it’s not an actual bug but by design. So maybe that’s why it’s taking so long because they probably have to edit all the spawn locations, which either way they’d probably have to do. Wish it was fixed too though.
- I-Sim4ever_807 years agoRising AceI still have them all around my big house all my neat sim wants to do is get rid of them
Maybe the NPC Gardner should get rid of them or if you hire one they should get rid of them I don’t know if it’s possible to program that in
Happy simming everyone. - Anmirla7 years agoSeasoned AceI wish we could compost them.
- DuchessRed7 years agoSeasoned NoviceI've tried to drop trash cans in the dead space between lots, like near the tree leading to Sylvan Glade, but every time I click on "throw away", the Sim drops the bag of trash and produces multiple trash heaps in the same area. I've tried the "Set As Head/Debug" thing, too, and it only seems to work on certain trash bins--and with the same resultant multiplying trash heaps. It would be nice if there were some way to add objects to these dead spaces in the "Manage Worlds", or maybe a patch fix.... /grumpery

NPCs will dispose of the ash piles in areas without trash cans, but I agree that it would be nice to be able to edit the neighbourhoods. What really doesn't make sense is that the leaf piles immediately begin to decay. They patched in the ability to woohoo in the leaves, but why would you do that to your Sims?
