Wishes (can we not remove ones we don't want anymore?)

It's been some weeks since I last played and there have been updates and new packs brought out. When I went to play I noticed I could not remove any wishes as I could before so my Sim would get a ...

I'm not happy with not being able to X out the Wants anymore. For example, my sim is in a good relationship with her boyfriend. Then she rolled a wish to flirt with another guy. Not just any guy, but a relative of her boyfriend who lives in the same household. It took forever just for that Want to leave on its own.
