Would you as a community give up new content for an extended period of time if EA/Sims actually buckled down and shifted a large percentage of employees to QA? I know the base structure is a mess sinc...

Ideally, EA would devote adequate resources to both bug fixes and new gameplay. New content makes the money, and this is a business, after all. Sometimes, though, you have to prioritize stabilization to improve the product and keep customers satisfied.
Having said that, players will say “yes, I would rather wait on new content” but we really won’t. Look at all the complaints and outrage on here when a world wide pandemic slowed production down. If we want focus on fixing the game we have, we will have to be patient when new content releases slow down.
