Going back to the previous games and seeing so many adult hairstyles and clothes that weren't available for teens, I'm actually fine with them sharing CAS assets. It also saves me the trouble of entirely redoing their outfits when they age into young adults
I'd rather see resources go towards more features that distinguish teens from YAs -- more teen-only interactions and activities, mostly. When the theoretical/mythical Sims 5 is released, maybe there'll be a height difference (though these days teens tend to be taller, thanks to better nutrition growing up; I'm shorther than all my great nieces).
That too. People are clamoring for fleshed out teens. At this point, making them shorter isn't the way because it's too much work for no gameplay value. Parenthood was a step in the right direction, but I'd like to see more as well. Prom, learning how to drive (if we ever get cars), sneaking out with friends/partners at night (which we can technically do if there's a set curfew, but I'd like a rabbit hole event similar to the one in TS2...including the risk of being caught by the police), etc.
