Would you give.up clothes/animations for shorter teens?

That is one thing that really irked me about the sims 4. Why did they make the teens the same height as the adults? In the sims 3 you can tell right off who is the teen and who is the adult. Was this an error on their part or was it intentional? There were just too many things left out of the sims 4 that was a put off for me about the game. I had much rather play the sims 3.
