I'm not sure. I still don't understand how it would have worked.
I agree, I'm not into that sort of online game format. If it were to function like a better looking Sims Social I wouldn't be interested. It was pretty boring. I am curious what they would have done.

Probably not as I don't play a lot of online games as for one, you always have to have other people help you out in order to really get anywhere and usually I just get stuck and quit (I hated that facebook sims game before they took it down as unless you had friends to help you out or really wanted to spend money, it is pretty limiting. I will stick with buying the PC games and expansions as that is fun and what I feel Sims should be like. I like how we can pick and choose how to run the town and all that without worrying about needing to ask for items or something from others, etc....
