Would you have played The Sims Olympus?

I don't see how it would have worked really, unless you could type or speak to others in this world using a microphone (which I assume was the plan) otherwise it would be a bit limited. Go up to stranger- tell a knock knock joke, ask them about their day (guess their response based on the random pictures that appear in the clip art displayer above their heads - usually an alien or something) - describe the apocalypse, use their toilet then leave. I can't see how anyone would have built up an actual friendship with those sort of limited options. I wouldn't for example, go and track down Mr. Smith who visited yesterday because he did an impression, talked about logic puzzles then danced to some pop music because he needed to raise his fun bar.
It might of worked if some of the activities you can sort of do together had a bit more depth- like actually being able to play a card game with a group or... actually I can't think of many other group activities in the game - I suppose you could have a fight over the remote control or something- it wouldn't really have added anything to the formula of this game.
I honestly would not have bought this game if it was all online, I got this as a fun relaxing romp to use after work and I am really glad they scrapped it and produced what they did, even though it has caused a lot of grief for people with all the chopped out bits and broken mechanics.
It looks like things are getting slotted back in anyway.
