Would you have preferred if Sulani was a vacation world?
I honestly can see it being both but I like it where it is

Also, way to miss the point of the pack. Hotels are absolutely HORRIBLE for the environment.
They don't have to be, though. They could have been little, traditional B&Bs or something else. And, in-game, any type of building isn't more environmentally friendly or unfriendly than another. You can build huge mansions that would take massive amounts of power on Sulani if you like. Same as restaurants, gyms, anything else that belongs in "civilisation", so why not hotels?
They could have also come up with something completely new, like making an AirBnB type of system where you can rent out space in your own home. There are so many options here. It doesn't have to be a 30-room, high-tech hotel.
