- dianed4857 years agoSeasoned AceI would have liked to have one vacation lot though or the (working) lot trait to make one myself.
- Fluteline247 years agoSeasoned AceNo way. I never use the vacation features so this would have been another wasted pack to me.
- I like it the way it is, I am getting attached to it. Loving it. Having a good time.
- I really love how Sulani is! In one game save, my Sims live there, and in another, they don't. The sims who don't live there visit and stay at a lot that I made generic, so they can meet all their needs and stay there all weekend B)! That family has been transformed to mermaids for their weekend, but the twin girls are children, so they just have fun swimming and exploring Sulani :)!
I did that in San Myshuno, as well. Most times, you can stay in a world and not live there if you have a generic lot set up for your sims to live at. I also make sure my sims have camping gear and jungle gear before any trips --- in a vacation or non-vacation world.
So, for future packs, I think that non-vacation and vacation worlds work well B)! - BooAgnes7 years agoNew TravelerI am SO glad it isn't a vacation lot only. Of course, sims in other cities can vacation there still, but I love the option to live there. I'm still sad I can't live in Salvadorada permanently, but perhaps that will be a feature in the future. Who knows! The Gurus have our best interests at heart and I trust them.

If Sulani was a vacation world I wouldn't have bought it.
Also, way to miss the point of the pack. Hotels are absolutely HORRIBLE for the environment.
I'm sorry, I didn't realize that IL was an eco- only pack. If that's the case, it would have made a whole lot of sense to be able to change the dirty water in wash tubs, to add solar panels, wells and pump sinks (there's obviously fresh water on the island that's coming from somewhere), or perhaps some cool islandy-type windmills made of palm fronds... However, those things don't exist.
The eco-living part of the pack was just a throw-in, not the entire point. If it was the entire point, it would have been better implemented. - Nope. I like it this way.

I think this is because we will see a hotels/bed and breakfast game pack. - I know the voting is done, but I give my two cents anyway................. I agree with the majority, I'd love it if we could have a lot type that we control for a rental. I love visiting in Salvadoada, but I'd also like to have at least one lot I could live in. Not being able to kind of messed up that game's storyline. So having one lot my Sims in other worlds could come and stay at in Sulani would be wonderful. I have a resort in Sulani, but it works as a restaurant with bedrooms above.
- heatherjp7 years agoRising HotshotI wouldn't necessarily have preferred it, but I would have been fine with it just being a vacation world also.
