As a fellow atheist, I also love implementing religion. But I'm more of an "I'm the god of my simmies, worship me". And I liked that in TS2 they used to look up at me sometimes.
I don't think I would like the medieval type of religion, but I don't think it would be bad if the sims worshiped me as the player. Go ahead, constrict your building in my honor!
