- Yep, I would love an RV pack with traveling on the road with ATVs and motorcycles and skateboards and scooters with basic cars patched in.
- ChadSims2Seasoned NoviceI'd love a pack like the survey with cars trucks motorcycles the ability to fix up old cars and build hotrods also have my Sims jump in the car and visit tourist destinations. Being able to run a car lot would be nice as well and date spots like an old fashion drive in theater or to drive up into the mountains to a spot overlooking the city. Being able to have a teen learn to drive again is also a plus not much unique content for them now.
- PhantasmKissNew SpectatorEven if they're just hobby items, I'd like to have them around. Sims 2 didn't have an open world, but they eventually got cars. We could handle it in Sims 4! It would be something to stick in a garage/driveway, maybe a skill to tinker with (or a new way to work on handiness) and of course a nice status symbol.
I just imagined a Used Car Dealership stuff pack. With a good deal moodlet or a lemon moodlet. Maybe I've taken things too far... - Nindigo79Seasoned NoviceNo. I find the obsession with vehicles absurd.
- aejp24Seasoned NoviceI wouldn't mind getting some other forms of transportation but I don't want a pack specifically for it.
- atreya33Seasoned AceOnly if it involves all age groups! Bikes for children and tricycles for toddlers. Parents should be able being able to take along toddlers and children in boats and cars.
Given how all the transportation we have already is excluding younger sims I am not inclined to pay for packs with additional adults only transportation.
I enjoyed the sims 2 version where sims could fix up an old car. But in general cars are not high on my list. - Given that the neighborhoods are fairly small and the worlds are not open, I don't see how cars would be any improvement for the Sims. I am not opposed to the Cars pack, I just consider it unnecessary...
- Peapod79New SpectatorI don't need this with a closed world. It would be nice if they made a stuff pack maybe with a few cars in it for the people that want them, I just wouldn't spend my money on it. To make it a little more interesting they could add the ability to work on cars too, like in TS2, gives them a little more activity than just sitting there and vanishing to loading screens. I still personally wouldn't buy it though... ha
- catloverplayerSeasoned AceI said yes but I'd take cars in a free update as well.
- Absolutely not... there's literally no need for them in a game like Sims 4. Vehicles were convenient in Sims 3 because of the open world... Sims 4 has loading screens, so it's not exactly a game changer. Honestly, it would be a waste of time and resources, in my opinion.
The only reason cars were beneficial in Sims 2 is because it was an entirely new concept and idea... also, they just happened to be an additional form of content in an expansion pack that didn't literally just revolve around cars (Nightlife). That was back in the good days of The Sims when features and content like this were just extra parts of an already compact expansion pack. Nowadays, if the only way to get cars is to have a "My First Car Stuff Pack", that's ridiculous... and I wouldn't support it.
