@LSM36 I have spent time around babies, and while in reality you can teach them things, the point at which all your teaching really shows through and comes to fruition is when they hit about 2-3 (the toddler years) and can reciprocate and actively respond to what you're teaching them. Infants don't particularly do much other than need attention until they become mobile and develop communication skills during their toddler stage. So the accuracy of babies in the Sims is pretty spot on, and while it is a mild shame they are glorified items, they don't become interactive people until their toddler years. I mean, you can make faces and make them giggle, and comfort them from crying, but that's about the extent of how you interact with infants.
