- Yes, I do want it. But not more than I want teens and elders upgraded, cars, witches, university, plumbots, beach and etc.
- joleaco7 years agoSeasoned AceYes. I play on long, so babies are around for longer than 2 days. I don’t age up sims early, so it would be nice to do more things with babies other than just tend to them in their crib.
- There are other things I wish would get fixed or introduced first, but I would love for babies to be less stationary objects.

@invisiblgirl What exactly would babies add to your gameplay? Like, in what ways can you see them being a rich, fully developed life state? I simply have difficulty thinking they would add something unique that the Toddler stage doesn't add, so I'm curious to know how you think they can be done to enrich the game. You can't exactly teach them talk, walk, or any skills, so what would you do with them?
I'd like a changing table and diapers that don't disappear (for toddlers as well), a baby bath, and maybe the crawling stage, which is missing from toddlers this time around. But mostly, I'd like to see more variation in baby temperament (some babies being more fussy than others) and an effect on toddlers they become if babies get more (or less) attention.- Louise_Goethals7 years agoSeasoned AceWell they aren't top priority to me but I seriously dislike these ugly object-creatures. It's important for me to feel attached to sims, otherwise I get bored of them and stop playing. Aesthetically appealing sims are much easier to feel attached to, as shallow as it sounds, and a sim starts existing when they are babies. If I feel attached to the sim since they are born, of course I'll play them for longer.
If the babies look cuter, are semi-customisable (ex. changing its outfit via a pie menu) and show more detail (ex. exact skin colour, eye colour and sometimes some fuzzy hair), they'd already be much better. - Yes - I would like them to be updated so that they can be carried around and there are more interactions with them. I would also like more choices of bassinets or cribs. It would just be a small update though as there really isn't a ton that babies can do in general, lol.

As soon as a baby is born in my game, it gets fed and then immediately aged up to toddler. If the babies were overhauled in a free update I just might be able to let them stay as babies for 2 days.
:D Baby overhauled is funny.
So if we do get the Sims 4 babies overhauled, updated, added to the family as they should have been from the base came. I want one more thing added.
*I want sometimes surprise pregnancies, like in real life most babies are a surprise.
*They could have the mom crave strange things even before she knows she is pregnant.
Or like me, I went out and bought a beautiful bassinet just because I saw it on sale. I did not know I would be using it soon. So big surprise. :)
*Add mommy talking to toddlers or kids about the coming new baby.
*New nurseries for babies. and parents fixing the room before the due date.
*Most parents have the baby's room perfectly done, with diapers, bottles, and clothes already.
*Cribs are a must have. Please. #1 thing in a babies room. cute cribs.
*Baby shops, please. expecting parents love to shop for their new little star.
*** Please when mom goes to the hospital let them show her and baby in a room with father at lease for a couple of Sims hours. And the baby, babies gets a birth certificate.
*If baby or babies are born at home the parents can send off for the babies birth certificate through the mail.
I did not put numbers because I just said one more thing. :)
