I think it is a great idea. It is probably really simple to create the code which enables adults to work part time jobs. They were allowed to in sims 3. I was thinking it would be great for mothers who have children: they may work while the child is at school.
I totally agree, especially since there are already part-time jobs for teens. I want my Sim parents home in time to help the kids with their homework. It would also be good for people who want to play rags-to-riches or struggling Sims storylines.
