Would You Pay More $$$ For School??

Ok so I know a good chunk of simmers are waiting for a University pack or something education related to be announced and usually I've seen this discussed as being a University pack with other "school systems" on the side or sprinkled in. I also know some simmers think we pay more for less content.

My question is, would you guys be willing to pay more than the normal $39.99 for a fully fleshed out Education pack complete with all schooling: preschool/kindergarten, grade school, high school, and university. Also, after school (drama club, yearbook, etc.) and in school activities (prom, graduation) that aren't all rabbit hole events.

I'm just curious if you think $39.99 is a good rate for the above or if it'd be worth more considering all the content within the previous packs. Name your price and list your opinions.

  • No, I don't have an interest in education at all and I would rather have more adventures and collectables as well as beach stuff.
I loved in Sims 3 how our sims could dive and collect things and swim, sunbathe etc.
  • No thank you!

I feel that the packs are already expensive for the smaller amount of content compared to past sims games.
  • No, they are more than capable of making a pack at the standard price. Any company will chance its arm for more if they think they can get away with it. They charge enough as it is, there's no need for more.

The base game is £34.99 in the UK, Expansion Packs are the same price, Game Packs are £17.99, roughly half price, and Stuff Packs are mostly £7.99, with Laundry Day being £9.99. So to me an expansion to should just as much as the base, a game pack around half as much and a stuff pack around a quarter of the content. There is no way they meet this criterion at present so I a certainly not minded to give them more again.
  • No that is basic game stuff - what game about life wouldn't have some kind of schools and colleges?

I'd rather see the lower grades and University separated into separate packs, personally. Some people might want University but keep the current school structure, and others want an education overhaul but aren't interested in University.

My education overhaul would include: return of private school (shorter school day but harder homework), homeschooling/study from home options (similar to the CL careers), customizable active school for teens, active daycare for toddlers

University, along with the whole college experience, would include online education, choice of living on campus or commuting (commuters would miss out on extracurricular activities but would save room/board), lifetime learning opportunities (Sims can return to get new degrees but will need fewer terms to complete)
