I voted no.
I just don’t think it can be managed in the way I would like.
I’d be up for playing with nominated family and friends. And when you’re offline your town is paused with no risks.
What puts me off:
The idea of strangers coming in and making changes is horrifying! ?
Plus most online games require constant connection and people can still affect changes when you aren’t around. It’s too stressful.
In the war games I play you have to put up a shield to protect your base but the longest is 3 days. So you still need to be online at least twice a week to maintain a shield.
These aren’t free, you have to buy gems ? . You can only win 8 hour or 24hr shields.
You have to find the right group who will help you. The first two groups I was in were fun but the latest is more task oriented so less chat.
I wouldn’t like to do this for any Sims games at all. I imagine micro transactions would be constant. Or some subscriptions being made available to advance quicker.
I definitely would not like to play a sims game where my sims town could have people come change things in it for sure. I figured if they had single player and multiplayer, they would be totally different games.
