I haven’t been here for a long time either. 
In was googling if you can run a business from a rental lot and it directed me to the forums. still no answer though. 

Aww I feel you. I was so lost too when I came here, but it gets easier if you just keep on posting and reading and using the forum. It was a slow process for me and felt difficult, but I'm quite used to it already 🙂

There are some settings in My settings -> Preferences -> Replies and Comments, that may help to make the forums more comfortable to use. For example, I prefer to see the newest post first.

Hello, so good to see you!  Not to worry, I feel your pain. I've been on this 'new' forum since it opened, and I'm still lost.  It's more like people stuck Post-It notes all over the place, and good luck finding your own post, again.  There is a way to select "follow". Use the dots, select follow. You should start getting Daily emails from EA with all the posts you've responded to or those who have responded to your own.  I write up what my Sims are doing over on Creative Corner, though. I tried to post them in General Discussion under the renewed: What Happened In Your Game Today? thread, but it got buried.  I returned to Creative Corner, as a result.

At any rate, I do hope you stay on. So good to have you back.
