I'm lost, how can immortal die of old age? And very sorry to hear of your Sims' woes. I'm of an age where I'm experiencing loss of friends, or just people from the entertainment field. Too many. But then I'm almost 65, too.
Ah, no, my sim's friends aren't immortal, seems like I put it wrong. It's frustrating since my sim has reached the point where they become friends or good friends the very moment they introduce, so she's got a ton of friends, and the price for that is dealing with this when they go one by one.
You still got plenty to go on! :)
